Romney secures nomination with Texas primary

A long protracted battle in the race for the GOP nomination officially ended Tuesday night with the Texas primary. Romney needed just 58 of the 144 delegates to reach the 1144 delegate count. The next task is for the nominee to pick a VP but don't expect an announcement any time soon.
