New Jersey governor Chris Christie fired top advisers arfter learning of their involvement to shutdown the George Washington bridge which is a major artery connecting New Jersey with New York. An email reportedly sent by his deputy chief of staff authorizing lane closures against a democratic mayor not endorsing Christie for his reelection campaign. Apparently the FBI and the US Attorney's office are investigating whether there was poltical payback.
Democrats apparently want to keep this scandal going as far they are concerned. He potentially challenges Hillary Clinton in her attempt at becoming the first woman president. Once again this is a situation where the democrats are alligned with the media. Christie was peppered for over 2 hours. It amazes me how the media complains about how their budgets are being cut when in fact the problem is that their bias is now being revealed. If the news was being actually covered honestly and accurately this would not be an issue. Their responsibility is hold those in positions of power to hold them accountable but they continue to take sides in subtle and not so subtle ways.
I believe Christie will survive this scandal. He may be flamboyant at times but I think he will out wit his opponents.
