Bush approval rating higher than democratic congress
While Bush's approval rating is at an all time low, congress's approval rating is even worse according to realclearpolitics.com. This is interesting because the media continues to suggest that Bush is weak and does not have a mandate. That he needs to show leadership. Isn that why the democrats were elected? They havent been able to get anything done since their first hundred days. They have failed to override the president on almost every issue that they care about. Most notably getting out of Iraq. The hard left wanted to get out of Iraq immediately. The frontruners in the democratic party president are now mincing words and suggesting that it would irresponible to withdraw early. You very rarely hear CNN for example questioning the House leadership about how they cant get bills through. You know that if this were a republican lead congress CNN would be all over it. Why do I say that? Because that is exactly what happened when the republicans did have control of congress. The mainstream media hounded the republicans day after day. So who is their whipping boy now--Bush.
